Wine-harvest in 2007

Small quantity and good quality !

At the beginning of october all the grapes for dry white and red wines are harvested. Only those for sweet wines are left to continue developing concentration.
Bad weather in Spring (during flowering) and very virulent disease (mildiou) resulted in a small crop. On the other hand quality is excellent : cool nights and sunny days at the end of Summer preserved acidity while enabling very good level of ripeness.
Dry whites are rich and well balanced and reds are full, with ripe tannins and dark colour.
