Soil and climate Grapes come from clayey hills at the north of Gaillac.
Grape varieties Mauzac 40 %, Loin de l'oeil 40 %, Sauvignon 20 %
Climate conditions After a rainy spring, summer was dry but not hot. Nights always were cool, preserving grapes acidity. Sunny september allows good harvest conditions in the second part of the month.
Type of winemaking The must ferments at a controlled temperature of about 18°C.
Type of ageing The wine is aged on its lees during winter. Bottling was made on March 18, 2009.
Tasting notes This wine develops intense aromas of peach, pear, exotic fruit and citrus. It is well balanced on the palate.
Food recommandation It is best served between 8-10°C as an aperitive or in association with fish and shellfish. Enjoy this wine young (0-2 years) with light, tasty dishes.
