Area of production Gaillac
Soil and climate The vines are planted on the left bank of the Tarn river. The Terroir is composed of very nice gravelly soils.
Grape varieties Mainly Duras.
Climate conditions After a rainy spring, summer was dry but not hot. Nights always were cool, preserving grapes acidity. Sunny September allowed good harvest conditions in the second part of the month.
Type of winemaking Fermentation occurs at 25-26°C. in order to preserve the fruity character. Maceration is fairly short (8-15 days).
Type of ageing This wine is aged in tank for about 6 months. Bottling was made on May 14, 2009.
Tasting notes It is a charming and easy drinking wine with aromas of red fruits and spice. Soft and fleshy on the palate, it has a delicious fruity finish.
Food recommandation Enjoy this wine with friends at any occasion. Serve at 14-15°C. It pairs perfectly with cold sliced meat or grilled poultry and meats.
